The method

Measure the house. Look at both ends. Price it in writing and stand by the number.

That is it. It is not clever, and what is unusual is doing the first two parts at all — a great many quotes in this trade are a bedroom count and a hopeful guess, and every bad moving day starts exactly there.

Why there are two Northolt firms here

Because there are two Northolt domains on this network: this one and northolt-removals.uk. Same town, different crews, a completely different look, and a different four areas written up in detail.

We would rather put that on the About page than let you discover it from a coincidence of coverage. If you have already had a survey from them, take their quote.

What we tell people

That the stair, not the bedroom count, decides a Northolt job — and that an external maisonette stair changes the day more than the size of the load does.

That a loft, a garage and a shed hold a room between them and are all coming.

That your move is really a man and van, when it is, even though the removal would have been the larger invoice.

And that Greenford and Hayes have their own coverage here, so you are better served there than by us stretching.

The European side

Four destinations rather than a brochure list. France, Spain, Italy and Portugal — enough volume on each that the process is familiar rather than looked up while the vehicle is loaded.

The customs file is prepared from the survey inventory. Where a document has to come from you — an NIE, a codice fiscale, a certificado de bagagem — we say so at the start, because those are exactly the parts nobody can accelerate.

Insurance and conditions

Goods in transit and storage cover are in place, with the usual conditions around owner-packed cartons and items of unusual value. Declare anything genuinely valuable at survey and we confirm in writing what applies before you book.

What we do not do

We do not quote before we understand the job. We do not promise a transit time we cannot stand behind. We do not take on a property without establishing that we can physically reach it. And we do not claim awards, accreditations, press coverage or customer numbers we have not got — if it is not on this site, it is because it is not true yet.
